Links

Yes, this list is woefully small. I have a bad habit of not bookmarking things, and lots of mine are out of date, anyway.

Art & Comics

Something Positive: I swore I'd never do another web comic. Randy (inadvertantly) inspired me to go back on that solemn oath.
Scott McCloud: A great comics artist & writer, and he has some of the best ideas on what a web comic can be out there.

When I did Journey to the West, I got lots of email from furries. I didn't know, until then, about furries. So I poked around, and eventually found Kyoht's website. Kyoht is NOT a furry, but she does paint anthropomorphic animals (and dinosaurs!) Her work is simply beautiful.

Music

Instruments

INAFA: The International Native American Flute Association.
The Orgeon Flute Store: A good place to start looking for Native flutes.
Windsong Flutes: Superb, Plains-style Native flutes by Scott Loomis.
Heartsong Flutes: J.P. Gomez makes gorgeous Native flutes. Sonicaly and aesthetically, they are among my favorites.
Romy Benton Bamboo Woodwinds: Unique & lovely bamboo transverse flutes.
Dreamtime: The Didjeridu Resource: Interested in the didj? This is the place to start learning.
Tai Hei Shakuhachi: Monty H. Levenson's fantastic site, with scads of information on the shakuhachi, the Japanese bamboo flute, and many flutes, books, CDs, and accessories available..

Performers

Dave Carter & Tracy Grammer: The best original folk music you will ever hear. Listen to "When I Go."
Steve Roach: An ambient pioneer, Roach has been very influential for me.
Mary Youngblood: One of my two favorite Native American flutists. Profoundly lyrical.
Kevin Locke: The other of my two favorite NAF players, Locke is much more traditional than Youngblood.
Stephen Kent: Probably the most influential American didj player. A great musician who's inspired many.

Spirituality

Neopaganism

Silly Canar Names: Amethyst Tygerfyre, Moonchrystal, and Silver Moon Kitten. All real, all hilarious. Wondering what a Canar is?
10 Big Beginner Wiccan Mistakes: Now you know. So don't make them!
The Ranting Witches: Pretty self-explanatory, really.
Why Wiccans Suck: The one, the only, the original. Love it or hate it.
Wicca for the Rest of Us: My favorite general Wicca page. And not just because it has an annotated critique of Silver Ravenwolf's destructive blather.
Breathless Noon: The website of Amber Laine Fisher, author of A Philosophy of Wicca, which, while not flawless, does set out to present exactly that. Fisher is remarkably erudite, although her comparative youth is also obvious.
East Meets West: An essay by Janet Farrar and Gavin Bone about the intersections between their Wiccan practice and Hinduism. Grist for the mill for anyone who truly thinks that Wicca is based in the Northern European culture & tradition; Gardner served in Indonesia for many years. Think about it.
Daven's Journal: A series of strong articles (and some great rants) by a long-time member of Seax-Wica, who is now a Druid.

Integral Spirituality

Ken Wilber Online: Wilber is one of the most challenging thinkers around today. His ideas of integral spirituality and art have influenced me deeply. I wish more Neopagans would check him out.
What is Enlightenment? My favorite magazine, hands down. As long as I ignore the ads, anyway. Thought-provoking articles on truly creating a contemporary, engaged spirituality, not just playing dress-up games.
